Made entirely out of transparent material and printed on tracing paper, this book takes a comprehensive look at the act of opening a box received by post. In an almost confessional close-up, the turning of each page suggests an emotional travelling that doesn’t only portray events but our ways of judging them, assessing them and experiencing them. The work begins with a seemingly harmless voyeuristic exercise and as objects appear and disappear it gradually becomes a dramatic approach to absence, leading us to identify with what we no longer see, perhaps with what we once were.
